Travel money

Order commission free foreign currency and travellers' cheques online

  • our travel money service is available over the telephone or online for residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands
  • minimum online order £100
  • pay by credit card or debit card online
  • order cash in up to 67 currencies and travellers' cheques in 7 major currencies
  • there is no commission fee for online orders
  • there is a 1.5% commission fee charged for Sterling Travellers Cheques ordered on the telephone
  • telephone orders are subject to a commission fee of 2%, minimum £3.00. This charge will be waived for first directory members
  • maximum online order value of £2,500
  • our Currency Converter iPhone® App enables clear and quick exchange rate conversion information for all major worldwide currencies.

What you should know before you order:

  • your currency can be delivered on a working day (Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays)
  • travel money can only be delivered to the billing address of the credit or debit card you pay with
  • you may be charged a cash advance fee by your card issuer. This will depend on the card issuer's terms and conditions and you should refer to them for details
  • if paying by MasterCard credit card online, Travelex will levy a handling fee of 1.5% of the order value (minimum £4, maximum £15)
  • cut-off for next day delivery online is 12pm and 3pm for telephone orders (delivery to certain remote parts of the UK may take up to 3 working days)
  • travel money is provided in association with Travelex. Travellers cheques are supplied by American Express®. They are recognised Worldwide and if lost can be replaced within 24 hours
