Find out how you can access Internet Banking on the move with a smart phone
You need to be a first direct customer to register for Text Message Banking.
To register for Mobile Money via your mobile phone, simply text 'fd', or 'BB' if you're using a BlackBerry, to 82428. Within 60 seconds you'll receive a text message, then simply follow the onscreen instructions.
Mobile Money is free to use until 31 December 2012*.
*Free means free of charges from first direct. O2, T-Mobile and Tesco Mobile customers can download and use the service completely free. Orange, Vodafone and Virgin mobile customers may incur a small data charge. If you use this service abroad, standard roaming data charges will apply depending on your network.
Text Message Banking and Mobile Money are only available once you become a first direct customer.
